The Before, After School and School Enrichment (BASE) Programs, are designed to provide safe, quality, affordable group care in the school setting; whereby each individual child is enriched with various experiences conducive to their academic, social, and physical development.
ESL (English as a Second Language) methods are designed to promote language development in the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing, and ESL instruction is based on the Colorado English Language Development Standards. ESL instruction is offered by highly qualified ESL teachers.
Playworks—creating a place for every kid on the playground — where every kid belongs, has fun and is part of the game. We are coaches, kids, teachers, parents and supporters who believe in the power of play to make kids, schools, and communities stronger.
The basic premise of our behavior program is that we want to simultaneously teach and reinforce with our students our standards for behavior in our school. This includes student behaviors in the classroom, in common areas, at recess, and on the school bus.
The PEAK Learning Center is a grant-funded summer and after school program which intends to establish or expand community learning centers that provide students with academic enrichment opportunities and activities designed to complement the students' regular academic program; assist with literacy and related educational development services for families, and provide a safe environment for students.
