My dream of teaching started in 2nd grade. With the goal in place, I spent my young adult life looking for ways to work with children and teach. I found myself volunteering in many different places teaching children. I loved every minute of it. The joy of working with children encouraged me to continue my education and become the first in my family to graduate high school, highly decorated in NJROTC. Finally achieving my goals by graduating college earning a BSEd with honors.
Through the years, I have had the pleasure of working with children from birth to 21 years old. I taught for five years in a residential treatment facility in a multi-grade level classroom. After moving to Colorado, I chose to pursue the dream of being classroom teacher. It has been my pleasure working at Malley Drive with 5th grade students since 2012. I enjoy their personalities and their thirst for knowledge. I look forward to watching them grow, learn new things daily, and start every day with new opportunities.
